What is the Drunken Tomato Awards?

The Drunken Tomato Awards is an international competition for all mixes, garnishes, and hot sauces related to the bloody mary industry. Each product is blind taste tested and rated individually, resulting in ample opportunity to medal in your category based upon the points you receive.

What products can I enter?

The following categories will be offered at the 2024 Awards:

• Bloody Mary Mix - Mild

• Bloody Mary Mix - Hot & Spicy

• Caesar Mix

• Bloody Mary Seasoning (Liquid & Dry) - No Tomato Juice

• Michelada

• New Product - Product Launched in 2023

• Unique Product

• Garnish - Includes Rim Salts, Pickled Vegetables, Jerky, etc.

• Hot Sauce

Expert Reviews

Each entry will be blind taste tested and reviewed by expert judges from across the United States. Medallions are not given on a simple first, second, and third class assessment but rather, are given based upon the total points earned for that entry. This allows for recognition of exceptional products in all categories.

With a thousands of professional product reviews under their belt, we are very excited to announce the following judges to the 2024 Drunken Tomato Awards.

How to Enter The Drunken Tomato Awards? 

You may enter as many products as you like. Each category entered requires a separate entry. For example, if you want to enter the mild and hot versions of your bloody mary mix, you must pay for two separate entries. 

For each category submission, you must provide TWO product samples.

Pricing

Entries are open April 15 - May 15 and are $250 per entry.

Rules and Regulations

1. Samples submitted must be in a commercial, government label-approved package and MUST be available for purchase, either in the US or in their country of origin, at the time of entry. Entries that do not meet these criteria will be disqualified from the competition without refund.

2. Please carefully package all entries, as The Drunken Tomato cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred during shipping.

3. Entry period opens April 15 and ends May 15, 2024.

4. Samples must arrive no later than June 15, 2024. Please ship all samples to the following address:

5. Winners agree to allow The Drunken Tomato to use their product name and image for promotional purposes.

6. Please note: There are no refunds. Please have your entry in by the deadline.
